Welcome to Crickhowell Rugby Football Club

We have now received dates for the games cancelled due to snow etc. They have been tagged on to the end of the season, which now extends well into May. Only the new Whiteheads fixture to be sorted out. see the "Fixtures" page for details.

Some sad news has been received. Towards the end of October, Mr. Roger Maggs, author of "Three Tries ~ The History of Crickhowell Rugby Club,1881 to 1926", passed away. A Chesterfield-based Crickhowell man, his father played full-back in the pre- and post- World War 1 teams, Roger took a keen interest in the club and was the first to compile its early history. Our condolences go to his family.

Everyone involved with the club would like to offer their condolences to Julian and his family following their recent loss. Mr. Reese's funeral will be held on Wednesday 7th. October at 2.00 p.m. in St. Catwg's church, Llangattock and afterwards at the Old Rectory.

Not a great start to the season. The game against Caerleon had to be abandoned after about 5 minutes as the ref got injured.

Second fixture v Rogerstone on 12th September is changed to an AWAY fixture as we need to finish the changing rooms.

Nantyglo trial match on Thursday 27th August is CANCELLED

We were thrilled to have Cardiff Blues' captain Paul Tito and former captain Rhys Williams  give up their time to take a coaching session on Tuesday 18th. August.
